Volcanic Ash Continues To Disrupt Travel

Air travelers in Europe spent a second day stranded by the cloud of ash from a volcano in Iceland that is blanketing the continent. In France, passengers trying to get to the U.S. were stranded in Paris, and many spent the night sleeping at the airport. People trying to get to Britain were also stuck: Cross-channel train and ferry services were fully booked until Monday. There is some hope though; meteorologists say a change in wind direction should move the ash cloud away from Western Europe over the weekend. Eleanor Beardsley

Federal regulators on Friday accused Goldman Sachs of defrauding investors. The Securities and Exchange Commission said Goldman sold a collateralized-debt obligation, or CDO, but withheld pertinent information from investors.
