Lyrics Are The Poetry Of Music

There are those songs that, for some unexplainable reason, catch on despite their annoying quality. Fast forward 10 years, and you’ll find that people only remember fragments from the chorus. Then there are artists who who, for some unexplainable reason, catch on despite the fact that their music lacks any variety or depth. Sometimes the annoying lyrical content of music, when combined with other features, can be entertaining. Other times, the combinations results in the most offensive aural mess ever heard. You know who I’m talking about.
