Shahid visits his Paathshaala in Delhi

Shahid Kapoor As a part of the promotions of his latest film Paathshaala (which releases today), Shahid Kapoor took a trip down memory lane and visited his own 'Paathshaala' in Delhi. Dressed in a black jacket and sporting the much talked about bearded look, Shahid visited his old school- Gyan Bharti Public School- in Delhi, wherein he studied till the 4th grade. He met up with the students and the entire faculty of the school who welcomed him and took him on a short tour of the school. The star also had an opportunity to visit his old classroom which brought back memories of the days when he used to just be a carefree kid who enjoyed his school days. Shahid also got to meet two of his teachers who reminded him of his school days when he was a naughty but lovable child. Shahid Kapoor The kids from the school went crazy on seeing Shahid and were screaming for autographs and photographs with their favorite star. The school children had also organized a special programme for Shahid and the actor along with principal R.C. Shekhar enjoyed every minute of it. After visiting his school, Shahid visited his old residence in the Press Enclave which is just a few blocks away from the school. Shahid grew up in Saket, South Delhi, where he used to live in a Delhi Development Authority (DDA) flat with his maternal grandparents. The star went to the flat he once lived in and gave a pleasant surprise to the tenants who now stay there. They welcomed him home and the star had a pleasant conversation with them over some fresh home-made 'sherbet'. Well, Shahid couldn't have asked for a better way to remember his 'Paathshaala' days.

Genelia D'Souza is latest brand ambassador of Margo Soaps

It's a common adage that 'Bollywood is the place where fate changes every Friday'. The same fact can also be reflected on the ever-changing ad arena. On one hand, where (almost) every single brand is trying to enhance its image by appointing Brand Ambassadors dime a dozen, even the Bollywood actors are also having a field day, under the sun! In a place where 'replacement' seems to be the key word, comes yet more news which only reinstates the said term. India's most popular (natural) soap Margo, till late, which was endorsed by Rani Mukherjee. But, according to Bollywood Hungama's confirmed sources, she has been replaced by the 'bubbly-cious' Genelia D'Souza. With this endorsement, it will be the ninth brand in the girl's kitty. For starters, the brands that she is endorsing includes the likes of Spinz, Cadbury's Perk, Fanta, Virgin Mobiles, LG Mobiles, Fastrack watches, Dabur hair Oil and Garnier. To sum up, Genelia seems to be the flavour of every season and every reason!

"Phoonk 2 is a horror film while Phoonk was definitely not" - Milind Gadagkar

Milind Gadagkar Yet another debutant director gets ready to realise his big screen dreams today. Milind Gadagkar, a 30 something young man who had written Phoonk, is having some nervous moments as his debut directorial effort plays on screens starting today. Though the first in the series was directed by Ram Gopal Varma, when Milind came with the idea of Phoonk 2, he was given a free hand to also direct it. Milind put things together entirely by not just bringing the original cast (Sudeep, Amruta Khanvilkar, Ashwini Kalsekar, Ahsaas Channa) together but also wrapping up the principal shooting in a record time (37 days). Hours before the release of the film, Milind gets chatting with Joginder Tuteja about the 'horror' of Phoonk 2, the lack of black magic element in the sequel and how he doesn't believe in either ghosts or God. Milind, Phoonk had black magic as it's USP and it was one of the major reasons why it struck a chord with the audience because it was something new being offered. In Phoonk 2, is the same theme of black magic being explored or do we see something different here? There is absolutely no black magic element in Phoonk 2. Let me tell you how the story moves ahead here. See, this family headed by Sudeep is happy all over again after the story came to a positive ending in Phoonk. However, this woman (Ashwini) who was killed now returns as a ghost and totally terrorises this family. The kind of fear which sets in is far more complex this time around. There is absolutely no black magic element in Phoonk 2 And how have you projected this fear? See, none of us has ever seen a ghost. We don't quite know what it is capable of doing. So the basic context of Phoonk 2 is that if a ghost exists then there are so many evil things that it can do which are totally unimaginable to us and unexplored. Personally even I haven't seen a ghost. Moreover, I don't even believe in ghosts. Or for that matter God. So the question is - 'If anything supernatural actually exists, then how badly can it terrorise? Can you even expect what is going to come your way? Do you know what is going to happen next? Can you plan anything at all? Can you escape something which is so dangerously and cunningly laid out in front of you?' You are rendered helpless. Before the release of Shaapit, Vikram Bhatt had apparently challenged the entire theory around 'scaring people in an empty theatre'. He had said that the real challenge lied for someone to be scared while sitting with hundreds of other people. What do you have to say? Honestly, I haven't read any such statement. However, I totally subscribe to the theory that the real test for a person is to sit alone in a horror movie. Otherwise typically in a packed auditorium when a scary film starts, people start giving those false cry. They do that in order to control the fear within them. However, watching a movie alone is a different experience altogether. A person has to be really brave. Personally, for you too it must have been a brave decision to helm Phoonk 2, right? After all there are many out there who would be expecting something far better than Phoonk here. It was never a challenge thrown to me by anyone, including Ramu, to make the sequel better and prove anything to the world. In any case, Phoonk 2 is a horror film while Phoonk was definitely not. It was mainly a scary film that projected the state of mind of worried parents who were going through unpleasant incidents in their lives. What had truly happened was that when Phoonk became a hit, a couple of writers including me got the structure of Phoonk 2 in place. Since I had a certain conviction around the story, Ramu told me that I was the best person to direct it as well. Neither did he throw me a challenge now was I expecting one from him. The point is that since he had so much confidence in me, I saw no reason why I should not have any confidence in myself. Phoonk 2 is a horror film while Phoonk was definitely not Now that the film is releasing today, how confident are you? Well, I am confident for sure. The film is just 1 hour and 50 minutes. We have tried to keep it slick and to the point. Ramu has seen the film and loved it. That's reassuring as well. But then you do arrive along with Paathshaala. Don't you see any competition there? I don't know much about this competition business yaar. May be after I have done 2-3 films, I would truly get an idea of what really is competition. Since this is my first film, I am not even thinking about the other film. I totally believe though that every film finds its own audience if it deserves so. We all know that Lagaan and Gadar released on the same day and still they were huge. Now how do you explain that? No, I am not trying to compare my film with these classics but the fact is that if a film is good, it will do well. In any case I have been so busy till yesterday as well that I haven't had time to think about competition. And honestly, I don't care either!

"It is true that I was offered a role in The Matrix" - Lara Dutta

Lara Dutta After having getting tremendous response to the first part of the interview with Lara Dutta, we though that nothing in the world can be more apt than to bring to you the second part of this heartfelt interview of the Diva who also celebrates her birthday today! In this part of the interview, a candid Lara speaks about how she ended up watching Maine Pyaar Kiya a whopping 16 times, her tryst with The Matrix and much more, including the never-before told secret about her tattoo! All this and mush, mush more. Read on to discover the real Lara Dutta! Was there any time in your life, when you encountered a 'Housefull' board for the film that you madly wanted to see? If yes, what did you do? Did you resort to buying tickets in black? Many, many times. My sister, who is much older to me, was dating someone (her current husband) when I was in my fifth standard. And all thanks to her, I landed up seeing the film Maine Pyar Kiya a whopping 16 times! And it was for this film, when I saw the 'Housefull' board many times. As far as me buying any ticket in black, there are only very few films whose tickets I have bought myself! When I was in my fifth standard, I landed up seeing Maine Pyar Kiya a whopping 16 times! Past-ghost rumors have it that you were offered a role in by-now-cult Hollywood blockbuster The Matrix and that you turned it down? If true, then why? Lets face it that it will only require a fool's brains to be turning down the role because of the script. But the fact is that it is true, I was offered a role in The Matrix. But this happened during my 'Miss Universe' days. I turned it down as my mother fell really sick during that time (December 2001, to be precise) and I very badly wanted to come back home and be with her. Lara Dutta Talking about Hollywood, will you ever say yes to a role of a Bond's girl? I don't mind being a Bond girl, but, at the end of the day, I do have my reservations. I don't think that I am comfortable enough taking off my clothes for the screen. So, it obviously has to be a role that doesn't entitle that. A very stark observation that two of your superhit films Andaaz and No Entry had your name as Kajal. Did you ever 'recommend' that name to any of your producer? I have never recommended the Kajal name to my directors saying that, "Yeh picture mein mera naam Kajal rakho, picture superhit hoga". I do agree that Kajal was indeed a lucky name for me. As a matter of fact, my name was Kajal even in Dosti, if I am not wrong! I have never told my directors that, "Ye picture mein mera naam Kajal rakho, picture superhit hoga". What's the status of Banda YeH Bindaas Hai? Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai is releasing this year. And yes, I am eagerly looking forward to my role in the film. And for the records, Banda Ye Bindaas Hai is not entirely an adaptation of My Cousin Vinny. This is adapted to the Indian audience's sensibility. As you rightly said, it is indeed a very special film for me. What about the sequel to Partner? Nothing as of now. At this point in time, it's still in the development stages. I don't think that any final decision has been taken in that regards. Having spoken about the 'present' and 'future', let's get a bit nostalgic…straight into your Miss Universe days. Your introduction as Miss India on stage said that "You want to direct documentaries on wildlife do white water rafting and check the Himalayas." How much of these aspirations have seen the face of reality? Or do they still exist in your 'to-do' things? I have done white water rafting. I haven't checked the Himalayas as yet. I do still want to direct a film, as I feel that it's the but-obvious natural transition of where I will eventually head. For the records, I am NOT directing a film as was reported in a leading daily. I don't think that I am equipped to direct a film right now as I still am learning at every point. And when I want to go behind the camera, I will make sure that I am well versed to do so. Lara Dutta Now, for the last of the 'nostalgic' questions from your Miss Universe days. Are you in touch with your 'Angels' Suzy, James and Christen, and Tony and Minda, your friend, philosopher and guide? Yes. I am in touch with some of the girls and a lot of people from the Miss Universe organization. Can you touch upon what's the habit of '8 @ 8' that you religiously follow? I am on twitter and it really becomes very difficult to answer people individually. So, I noticed that most questions have a pattern and that many of them are repetitive. So, I decided that the easiest way to really interact with your fans who are sincerely following you on twitter is to do a session called '8 @ 8'. Under this, I religiously answer 8 questions at 8 pm every night. Let me confess that I haven't done '8 @ 8' for a while now as I have been extensively traveling. I have been in the US for almost a month. But, I will be back soon, restarting the '8 @ 8'. I decided that the easiest way to really interact with your fans who are sincerely following you on twitter is to do a session called '8 @ 8' In an industry, where there are no permanent enemies and friends, is there anyone whom you can term as your '3 am friend'? I do have my 3 am friend but not from the industry. They are from outside the industry. Now for a question that every fan of yours must have been dying to ask, but didn't know how to ask. So, here it is. What is the significance behind the rose tattoo that's on the ankle of your right leg? The tattoo that I have is a rose with a twine. While the rose signifies fragility, the twine signifies strength. Both of these form my personality! Give us three reasons as to why Housefull is a good watch? Firstly, if you don't go, you will miss the biggest entertainer of the year. Second is that if you want to watch Riteish, Akshay and me crawling around with our hands and knees before the tiger that's sitting in the living room of our house, then, you should go and watch this film. And the last reason is that it's an incredibly fabulous looking cat performing some incredibly fabulous looking comedy in an incredibly fabulous house! (laughs) Amongst all this, does Lara Dutta form the icing on the cake? You bet! In conversation with Lara Dutta - Part 1

Shahid going on long bike rides to spend some time alone for Mausam

Shahid Kapoor Shahid has been wrenched away from the 'thick' of things. Just when he needed to feel like a solitary brooder for his father's film where he plays an air force officer and hence a man who spends many hours flying high above the noise and bustle of day to day life, he had shooed back into noisy civilization. The double dose of publicity for his two forthcoming films Paathshaala and Badmaash Company have come in the way of Shahid's deep and purportedly uninterrupted preparation for his father's film Mausam. Shahid who plays a romantic loner in Mausam was just getting into his solitary space taking long mo'bike rides in the night to understand what it feels like to be completely on his own, when he has been yanked back into the thick of things with a series of never-ending publicity and promotion for two films. Shahid is constantly in and out of interviews. Sometimes he gets so confused he wonders which of the two films he's meant to be talking about. And this is the last distraction he needed when he wanted to be alone. To prepare for his part in Mausam, Shahid wanted to be completely on his own, a luxury that he can't afford at the moment. At the same time he doesn't want to lose the thread of the lonely lover-boy's character that he is playing in Mausam. To remain within the character's comfort zone, Shahid nowadays takes off on those long night-time mo'bike rides of his cutting into darkness at a lightning speed. Shahid says going off on his mo-bike is the only way to understand the full significance of solitude in Mumbai. And he's applying it to the fullest at this moment. Says the method actor. "Yes I love biking on my own. I often take off in Mumbai on my bike during the night. Riding my mo'bike relaxes me, opens up my mind and helps me understand myself better as a human being and an actor." He admits the role in Mausam requires him to be on his own. "But even otherwise I like going out riding on my own anonymously. It helps me unwind. I think every actor likes to be alone. In any case I am not a group person. I don't move around with 25 hangers-on. I have 3-4 close friends. They are the ones I spend my time with besides my family." Shahid does get recognized even in the middle of the night when he takes off his helmet at a traffic signal. "Sure I get recognized on the streets. But no one really bothers me. And really, you can't stop doing what you have to out of the fear of being recognized."

Wishing Lara Dutta a very happy Birthday

Lara Dutta "I think pageants like the Miss Universe pageant give us young women a platform to foray into the fields that we want to, forge ahead, be it entrepreneurship, be it the armed forces, be it politics. It gives us the platform to voice our choices and opinions and makes us strong and independent that we are today." The above mentioned lines might just pass off as 'mere words' to many, but for today's Birthday girl Lara Dutta, it means the Universe to her, for it was this answer that got (read 'earned') her the much coveted Miss Universes crown! Lara, as they say, is definitely God's best ever gift to mankind! There's nothing that's imperfect about this damsel. One look at this girl and even the term 'imperfect' gets itself split into 'I M Perfect'! A few of Lara's 'hearti-facts' in Bollywood can be witnessed ( read 'experienced') in films like Andaaz, Khakee, Masti, Kaal, No Entry, Partner... to name a few. The fact also remains that the whole of Bollywood is waiting for the release of this PYT's next biggie titled Housefull, more eagerly than scientists waiting for the Halley's Comet Please join Bollywood Hungama as we wish Lara Dutta a very happy birthday, by posting your wishes below:

KJo asks followers on Twitter to come up with title for Stepmom remake

Karan Johar Karan Johar's official remake of the Julia Roberts- Susan Sarandon starrer Stepmom is yet to find a title and like always the ever-popular filmmaker has come up with an innovative way to zero in on a suitable title for this film. Karan, who is extremely active on social networking site Twitter, has asked his many followers to give him suitable options for this Siddharth Malhotra directed film that stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. A few days ago, Karan had tweeted, "Hey all...any title suggestions for our official Stepmom adaptation film. Hindi titles preferably. Will be grateful forever if any of u can help." Needless to say there were quite a few creative minds who started tweeting various title options and four such titles seem to have caught the fancy of KJo and his team. "Hey...our shortlist for Stepmom title options...which one do you like... Love You Maa...We Are Family...Hamesha and Forever...and Ghar?" Even Arjun Rampal who stars in the film seems to be asking for title options from his fans on Twitter and has even promised to take the one who comes up with the perfect title for dinner and a private screening. In Rampal's own words, "Think of other titles for Stepmom, forget the ones sent, the winner I will take for dinner and the private screening. Lol." One will have to wait and watch if the makers go ahead with one of these four titles or still wait for more interesting titles from their followers on Twitter.

Pixion VFX glitters Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai

Produced by Warner Bros & People Tree Films and directed by the debutant Milap Zaveri, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai is another romantic-comedy which illustrates love, in an innovative way. What adds glitter to the movie is the vfx executed by Mumbai based VFX house Pixion. Boasting of around 600 shots, the movie extensively consists of chroma replacements and CG properties. Says Viral Thakkar, CG head at Pixion, "The main idea behind using VFX in the movie was to make the narrative of the film better. CG props, environment etc used in the movie helped director and his team to bring out their imagination at their best." The film revolves around Ritesh Deshmukh who finds no worldly girl that fascinates him and Tara (Jacqueline Fernandez), an alien from Venus who comes to find love on earth. "Basically, most of the shots were shot using green plates, as it would have been tiresome to do so without it, and since Ritesh and Jacqueline had done a vfx film earlier, the crew didn't have to put in any extra effort. The main task was planning out the shots thoroughly before we take it to the sets", adds Milap. In this exclusive case study, Bollywood Hungama brings you a shot breakdown of some the best shots from the movie, courtesy, People Tree, Warner Brothers and Pixion. "Paathshaala is about problems that are happening today in schools" - Milind Ukey

Milind Ukey He has directed the acclaimed Marathi film Devki which won 27 awards, he is also the director of India's most successful animation film Hanuman and now he is all set to make his mainstream Bollywood directorial debut with the Shahid Kapoor- Ayesha Takia- Nana Patekar starrer Paathshaala. He is none other than Milind Ukey. Milind was live on Bollywood Hungama's video chat to interact with his fans. For all those who missed this fun-filled session, here are the excerpts: Milind Ukey: Hi. This is Milind Ukey only on Bollywood Hungama.com R A J E : so how was it making the film? Milind Ukey: it was a great experience. To make a film based on real issues and social issues though not easy on a commercial setup, but nevertheless we were well prepared to make this film and what we thought we captured on screen... Hope people like it. Mrbean : kaise hain aap milind jee? Milind Ukey: I am fine thank you Milind Ukey: Mrbean...it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Shahid is a very intelligent and creative actor. His inputs to the film are invaluable. When you watch him in the film, you will never see him as Shahid Kapoor but the character Rahul Prakash Udyawar. angle : so whats Paathshaala like? Milind Ukey: Paathshaala is about the problems that are happening right now in schools, that the students and parents are facing, problems that the teachers are facing. WE have a lot of shortcomings in the education system which we are trying to point out in this film. Mrbean : how was it working with Shahid? Milind Ukey: Mrbean...it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Shahid is a very intelligent and creative actor. His inputs to the film are invaluable. When you watch him in the film, you will never see him as Shahid Kapoor but the character Rahul Prakash Udyawar. HANDSOME : what inspired u to make a film like Paathshaala? Milind Ukey: Ahmed has originally thought of the idea and we got in touch through a common friend. He narrated it to me and I liked the idea immediately. As I was also doing research on the similar problems in the education system Milind Ukey Mrbean : tell us bout ur experience shooting the film? Milind Ukey: shooting this film was a bit hectic becos we had to erect a huge set at Film city and we had to finish the film within minimum days. Secondly we had to shoot with almost 100 kids everyday and some days there were even 500 childen. Another thing was the availability of limited dates of Shahid , Nana and Ayesha. So it was indeed a big challenge to finish such a high quality film within 36 days. we were well prepared on the papers before the shoot began and at times we shot with 2 - 3 cameras, so though it was a hectic affair we are satisfied with the outcome. faizan ali : sir will ur film be releasing here in Pakistan? Milind Ukey: thats yet not decided faizan but I hope that it releases there too Mrbean : and what about ayesha takia sir Milind Ukey: ayesha is a very natural actress. She needs minimum brief to portray her character. She is a very sensitive human being so for me it was very easy to work with her. As a teacher Anjali Mathur, Ayesha comes across as a very lovable character on screen Milind Ukey: ya...they are doing very well right now. Aye Khuda is hitting the top of the charts both sales wise and in terms of ringtone downloads. Though Hanif is a new music director, his quality of music is at par with any established music director at present. The tone is very modern and melodious, it cant escape any musical ears. faizan ali : the songs of ur movie is fab Milind Ukey: ya...they are doing very well right now. Aye Khuda is hitting the top of the charts both sales wise and in terms of ringtone downloads. Though Hanif is a new music director, his quality of music is at par with any established music director at present. The tone is very modern and melodious, it cant escape any musical ears. Mrbean : ohh great sir aapka agala movie kounsa hain? Milind Ukey: i am still writing a script and waiting for Paathshaala to release so that I can create a right set up for my new screenplay Mrbean : who do u think is the best in the industry as of now? Milind Ukey: there are many but one person I deeply admire is Aamir Khan. I find him not only a great actor but a complete filmmaker. A visionary and a lot to learn from. malika : what bout shooting with the kids did u screen test them all? how did u select them if not? Milind Ukey: malika...we screen tested all the kids and we had a wonderful time during the audition. Few kids like Swini Khara, Ali Haji, and Dwij didnt need to go through the auditions as they are already established actors Milind Ukey Mrbean : where did u shoot for the film? Milind Ukey: we constructed a huge 20000 sq feet set in Film City. Entire film was shot in one set. sania:::)) : what made u choose shahid and ayesha? Milind Ukey: shahid and ayesha are childhood friends of ahmed khan and when ahmed wanted to make his first production along with his wife Shaira Khan, the old friendship came forward to give the shoulders. leolo : sir what do u think is going to be the audience reaction to the film? Milind Ukey: leolo...this film speaks the genuine and real life problems of parents, teachers and students. And the way we have picturised it , Paathshaala will hit straight to the hearts of people and I am sure its going to be a memorable film for years to come. faizan ali : will you make an sequel of pattshalla? Milind Ukey: that's an interesting qtn faizan...probably college ha ha ha... it all depends on the success of this film Milind Ukey: malika...we screen tested all the kids and we had a wonderful time during the audition. Few kids like Swini Khara, Ali Haji, and Dwij didnt need to go through the auditions as they are already established actors **** Mike **** : who would u like to cast in ur next film? Milind Ukey: Aamir Khan amirah khan : How is Nana Patekar to work with...is he temperamental? Milind Ukey: Nana Patekar is a very methodical actor, a seniormost actor. So you have to be very well prepared and your home work has to be thorough. his creative levels are of very high standards which we have to match up to. so if any shortcomings are there, he would naturally question in his own way. What people call tantrums but I call it his right as an actor. I WANT NOBODY : WHAT WILL BE YOUR NEXT MOVIE NAME Milind Ukey: The War Of Panipat leolo : ur a writer too? any film written yet? Milind Ukey: no I have not written any film but I would be writing new script Ankush : why did it take so long to release?? Milind Ukey: Ankush...any big film takes its own time to complete so one and half years for completion is a good time. It also took a little extra time to find a suitable release period which had to be the summer vacations bhavi : how is avika gor in film Milind Ukey: when avika gor started to act in the film, she had not done Balika vadhu. She was relatively new and thats why her role is smaller in the film but very nice and impt. Milind Ukey leolo : If not a writer director then what? Milind Ukey: leolo...thats a good question...hmmmm I would be lost. I WANT NOBODY : sir do u read? what are ur hobbies? Milind Ukey: I read a lot particularly on socio-political issues, philosophy, listening to music. In short, anything and everything related to the films. Mike : Would you ever venture into horror films? Milind Ukey: I wont call them horror films but maybe I'd make a supernatural thriller to depict the forbidden truths about life and death. Milind Ukey: I wont call them horror films but maybe I'd make a supernatural thriller to depict the forbidden truths about life and death. sam24 : sir, which is ur best film till date? Milind Ukey: Paathshaala Mike : you made an animation film...but really our animation is still way behind hollywood ...why? Milind Ukey: we dont have the budgets and enough creative ideas. sam24 : Do you think this film is a breakthrough for you as a director as well? Milind Ukey: Certainly Yes Sam becos it creates for me a big platform in the commercial film industry Arun : whats your favourite hollywood film and why? Milind Ukey: Arun...so many of them but I would say The Hurt Locker moved me deeply for last so many days. IMwhatIM : Sir....Whoz that cute kid nr U? Milind Ukey: ha ha thats my son Krishng Deepali : whose your favourite bollywood actress... Milind Ukey: Deepali...all time fav is Madhubala Milind Ukey: Deepali...all time fav is Madhubala faizan ali : can you make a movie on MUGHAL EMPIRE?? Milind Ukey: in fact The War of Panipat would be somewhere near portraying the Mughal culture Arun : i did watch hurt locker and didnt see anything moving in it... i think waltz with bashir is better... ur coments? Milind Ukey: I have yet not seen it IMwhatIM : Whch s ur fav song? Milind Ukey: so many of them yaar but I like Zara Zara from RHTDM Praful : considering your experinece pathshaala is abig film for you...r u nervous? Milind Ukey: yes a bit Praful. How much ever hard work you do but its peoples verdict that finally matters and thats what makes us nervous I WANT NOBODY : if he is grown up for example would u like your son to be an actor Milind Ukey: rather i would like him to be a director becos he already asks me questions which are more like a director Kooool : Hi milind first of best of Luck for your Upcoming movie...! can i ask that why you have titled it as "Paathshaala" like a typical hindi??? Milind Ukey: the film deals so much with the inherent issues of education system and they are so much Indian in their nature that the name should immediately reflect ingenuity of the subject matter Milind Ukey leolo : are you on any networking site? what do you use it for? Milind Ukey: facebook SANIA.....:) : sir wht do you think about shahrukhkhan Milind Ukey: he is a great showman I WANT NOBODY : which grade is your son studying, sir? Milind Ukey: he is in 1st std Arun : Do you think celebs talking abt their movies and the details before release on social networking sites is a good idea? Milind Ukey: todays media interaction is completely changed compared to the earlier times. Now there are too many options for entertainment than films, hence film cast and crew need to create a direct communication with their audiences which will help enough grounds to receive the film in the correct light. IMwhatIM : Howz d Promotion f Paathshala gng? Milind Ukey: as you see on the television, its all over the place and we have wonderful hoarding displays in Mumbai plus our music is a hit on the radio so in all we have top class promotions carried out by EROS Intl and PaperDoll Productions I WANT NOBODY : i thik your next film will be superhit all the best Milind Ukey: thank you very much..so sweet of you I WANT NOBODY : has he watched the film yet? Milind Ukey: yes he has just seen the film and he cried in the film and he said he loved the film and would love to show all his friends. He asked me one qtn- How do I know about the dreams of the characters in the film and how do I take that scenes of that dreams onto the screen? If you can answer that qtn pls let me knw IMwhatIM : what are ur plans post the release of the film? will u go on a vacation? Milind Ukey: I need a vacation very badly but lets see sam24 : if u have to remake any movie from hollywood which one it wud be ? Milind Ukey: i dont believe in remakes IMwhatIM : DO you think we should do away with lip sync...its so yesterday... Milind Ukey: no not yet. Our Indian films are still has its unique form and we still have a strong musical culture which should be preserved inform of lip sync songs Milind Ukey: guys it was great fun chatting live with all of you....will come back after the film is released and share more. Deepika opens up on her 'relationship status' with Siddharth Mallya

One catches Deepika Padukone in a fiery mood. And rightly so. Right after a very public break up with Ranbir Kapoor, she has found herself in the midst of one rumour after another. Whether it was her alleged proximity to Farhan Akhtar during the making of Karthik Calling Karthik (something which was rubbished in no uncertain terms by both the actors) or her so-called refusal to work with Ranbir (which was again passed off as idle gossip by people close to the actor), Deepika had to face an unnecessary storm when she would have rather spoken about her work. In a happy professional scenario that she is currently enjoying with a line up of projects round the corner, she is also (unnecessarily) forced to spend her time and energy in response to insinuations that she could well be dating Siddharth Mallya. For the uninitiated, Siddharth is the son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya who is also the owner of Royal Challengers Bangalore, an IPL team for which Deepika Padukone is the Brand Ambassador. "If I am sitting with the owner of my IPL team, there is no reason why I should be linked up to him", Deepika flares up the moment this topic of discussion opens up, "If I am the face of the team, isn't it obvious that I would be sitting up with? I would be there with him supporting my team, right? It's but obvious that I would also be photographed. But does that mean I am going around with a guy? Come on, let's grow up. All of this just doesn't make any sense at all." Perhaps this is also because of her current 'single status'. "You know, all of this has become way too predictable", Deepika forces a smile here, "Every fortnight there is one link up or another. Today, even if I go out with my cousin brother, I am sure to see a headline next morning with announcement of yet another new relationship of mine. Really, it's all such a big joke now." How are her parents reacting to such 'jokes'? Don't they get furious when stories about her daughter fill tabloids for all the wrong reasons when instead she should have been in news for the plethora of work that she currently had in hand. "I think even my parents have really given up now", she sighs, "There is absolutely nothing for my parents as well to react at all. There are no clarifications required. All they want now is to read about the work that I am doing and this is what they expect from people as well. Of course initially it used to bother them as well me. I used to clarify about these news pieces and everyone would understand that eventually there was no truth in it all. However, now since I have been in the industry for 3 years now, all of us understand that most of the written word is untrue after all."
