One wonders if her surname has got anything to do with the 'Heat' factor that this lady exudes. For starters, 'Dhoop' in Hindi, means Heat. And with a name like Neha Dhoopia... we mean Dhupia, what more can we say! Seconding our thoughts is the latest edition of the men's magazine Maxim, where Neha raises the winter temperature with her cover shoot for the mag.
In this issue, Neha talks about her transition from being a beauty queen to an actress, the secret behind her smoking hot looks, her secret hot fantasy, tips to impress her and the connect between armed forces and beautiful faces! If that wasn't enough, this hottie also talks (read 'confesses') about what's the most she's done to keep a guy guessing...

After partying the whole night to bring in his birthday on Saturday night, Hrithik took a much-needed break from the shooting of Guzaarish on Sunday to spend his birthday with his wife and sons.
This was the actor's first demand for a holiday from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film. The director gladly complied and shot solo scenes with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
For the party on Saturday night, Hrithik and his wife Sussanne personally called every one of the guests.
Hrithik intends to take a long break after Guzaarish to recover his energies. While he has two other projects this year, there seems to be no sign of the next Krrish film with his father Rakesh Roshan.
Has anyone noticed? Hrithik Roshan hasn't made a movie with his father Rakesh Roshan since 2006 when they did Krrish.
And now it seems unlikely that the most successful father-son filmmaking duo of Bollywood would come together in 2010 as planned earlier.
Says a source, "After he finishes Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, Hrithik has already allotted dates to two other films - Zoya Akhtar's road film with Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol and Vishal Bhardwaj's next which begins in the second-half of 2010."
Where does that leave Rakesh Roshan's plans of making the third part of Krrish? Says a source, "Hrithik is not sure about the feasibility of the Krrish series any more. Not after James Cameron's Avatar. He wants the project to go through a budgetary scrutiny to see whether they can create effects comparable with Hollywood's Avatar and 2012. Otherwise what is the point?"
Rakesh Roshan doesn't deny the fact that Avatar has indeed put a brake on all his plans to make Krrish 3. "I saw the film in Los Angeles. And it certainly made me sit up and re-think about Krrish. But I don't think it is impossible to create effects on a par with Hollywood. We need to budget Krrish 3 intelligently."
As far as starting Krrish 3 goes, Rakesh Roshan admits there's no immediate chance of it taking off. "I am not even thinking of directing my own film until our production Kites is released on May 14. Only then will I seriously start planning my directorial project. For now the next film I direct is Krrish 3. But it may change if I'm unhappy with the script."
What the patriarch of the Roshan empire leaves unsaid is that the father and son Roshan have sat together and discussed the feasibility of doing a lavish big budget film in the light of Avatar and other Hollywood extravaganzas dubbed in Hindi.
Hrithik has made it clear to his dad that there's no point in doing a Hollywood-styled special -effects film unless there's scope and space for the desi counterpart to make an impact at the box office.

Get ready to watch some intense stuff on celluloid, Ramgopal Varma style. The maverick director, known for narrating new stories in film after film, is ready to unleash RANN. Starring some of the finest talents of the country, RGV has chosen a theme that has rarely been projected on the Hindi screen before - media.
The general perception is that RANN is all about media bashing, but after having watched some footage from the film, you realize it's not. What you do realize after watching portions of the film is that it's as hard-hitting and intense as some of RGV's previous movies. And it also pricks your conscience.
The SARKAR series brought RGV and Big B together and you get this feeling that the combo will strike again this time. Also, watch out for performances of Paresh Rawal, Riteish Deshmukh, Rajat Kapoor and Sudeep. Source: Entertainment - Google News | 12 Jan 2010 | 12:12 am Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed plans an Indo-Pak project
Mahesh Bhatt has always been a frontrunner when it comes to importing talent from Pakistan. From actors to musicians to singers, Bhatt has always utilised talent from across the border in his movies. The latest is, popular Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed, who was cast in a significant role in JASHNN, is making a movie - an Indo-Pak collaborative effort - with Bhatt playing a noteworthy role in this endeavour, handling the creative aspect of the film.
The film, titled BALAA, will borrow talents from India and Pakistan and will produced by Shahzad Naseeb and Sameena Humayun Saeed. Shagufta Rafique, who has penned a number of films for the Bhatts, will script and direct BALAA, which will star Humayun Saeed in the lead, while "talks are on with Pakistani actors Iman Ali [KHUDA KAY LIYE] and Juggun Kazim [who hosts talk shows on Pakistani television]," Humayun informs me. Meanwhile, Shagufta is in talks with Tabu to enact the title role.
Humayun plans to use talents from both the countries. "Music composer Raju Singh will be recording five songs for the film, which will be recorded in the voices of Indian and Pakistani singers. Plus, a lot of technicians will be hired from the Indian film industry, since they're well versed with advanced technologies," Humayun reveals. The filming will take place in Pakistan and Dubai from March onwards. "Bhatt-saab has agreed to be on the sets to steer the project in the right direction," he adds.
So how did the idea of making an Indo-Pak collaboration germinate? "Bhatt-saab would always encourage me to make films using talents from the two countries. That triggered off this project. In fact, we intend making a series of movies, if the first one clicks," Humayun adds. The film will see a simultaneous release in India and Pakistan.Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 12 Jan 2010 | 12:11 am In a previous birth Amitji must have been Abhishek`s son: Balki - SantaBanta.com

She is someone whom everyone thought was 'Miss India' personified! Sweet and gentle in her ways, seeing her glowing face is always a delight. Untilâ¦one day, the unimaginable happened! Despite the fact that she has worked hard to reach where she is now, the irony of the fact remains that she took a Shortkut to do so! Well, we are indeed referring about the one and only Amrita Rao, the sweet chic, who till yesterday, was considered as someone who could only do simple roles, till she proved to the world that she is as comfy in the glam roles as she is in the simple ones.
Amrita is all sizzles on the cover of the latest edition of FHM magazine. This is one issue, which as they say, is 'for the keeps'. The 'history' of her story is totally inspiring. Looking back, this cool as cucumber says, "Once, I was passing by R. K. Studios as a kid. We were just crossing the gate of the studios and I thought to myself, one day, I am going to pass through that gate, and no one is going to stop me." She also adds "Whichever audition I walked in; I came out getting the assignment. I am sure that there were other models prettier than me, sexier and more attractive than me... but I got the assignments." Last, but not the least, this PYT turns the heat on the Indian men by saying, "When an Indian man is fond of a girl, the first thing that he wants to do is to cover her up (with clothes)."
All in all, Amrita Rao is surely the best way to bring in the New Year 2010. 'A must-mast buy' is how one would describe the latest edition of FHM. Soha is not just the most wanted face in Bollywood, but also in the world of advertising. When you ask someone 'How are you?', the chances are that instead of a boring 'I am fine. Thank you', you might get a peppy 'All is well' in reply. Such has been the impact of the Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots, that the song is on its way to become a contemporary feel-good album slogan.
Amul, with its knack of picking up topical issues and converting them into memorable ads, has come up with yet another one on 3 Idiots. The ad has 3 guys (in reference to Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman) in their by-now-world famous pose, with the slogan 'Kisne kisko idiot banaya'.
The witty line might be a reference to the controversies that have plagued the film since its release. First, it was about a ragging scene in the film, and then about abetting student suicides. If that wasn't enough, there was a controversy about the famed (or is it 'framed') author Chetan Bhagat, about him not getting due credits in the film. And who better than Amul to butter up the situation!

In February 2009, Abhishek Bachchan created a world record for the maximum number of cities visited by a film star in 12 hours, setting the stage, making him the first Indian film star to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records. He was presented with the Guinness Record by Yash Chopra at the Chevrolet Apsara Awards presentation ceremony held in Mumbai recently.
An excited Abhishek Bachchan shares, "I'm quite excited by the success, more so because it has been done for a film that's so close to my heart. I am delighted to receive this honor at the prestigious Apsara Awards in front of the entire film industry. The issues addressed by Delhi 6 are relevant and have a strong message for our countrymen. This record I'd dedicate to the people of India."
Will Smith was the first to make it in the Guinness World Record for his movie Hitch for making the maximum number of public appearances by a film star at different cities in 12 hours promoting their film. Jargen Vogel and Daniel Bruhl (Germany) broke Will Smith's record and now Abhishek Bachchan takes the mantle.
The whirlwind set of appearances were done under strict Guinness World Record guidelines and the current record was equaled within five hours, broken in eight hours and by the time 12 hours had lapsed, Abhishek had visited 7 cities further extending the challenge. The last two cities took more than six hours.
The record-breaking whirlwind tour, to promote his latest release Delhi 6, began on 22nd February, Sunday in the afternoon at 12.05 pm in Ghaziabad in the presence of world media; Abhishek started his unique tour travelling to as many events in as many cities as possible within 12 hours. Other cities covered included Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Mumbai.
In every city witnesses were identified, as per Guinness World Record norms, and these included corporate executives, bureaucrats, police officials, and mall owners. Ernst & Young's auditors served as witnesses to the effort and Wizcraft International organized the Guinness World Record breaking endeavor. He was chartered across cities by BJETS.Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 11 Jan 2010 | 5:41 am Michael Jackson `was murdered`, states death certificate! The cause of Michael Jackson`s death has been ruled as homicide in the star`s death certificate, according to reports.Source: Zee News : Entertainment | 11 Jan 2010 | 5:36 am Reality shows: A successful TRP Strategy?Reality shows may be a great TRP strategy but they cost the participants a lot. Gurindher Chadha has a lot to be proud of. She claims Shimit Amin's deeply influential Chak De was "a cleverly disguised variation on my Bend It Like Beckham. In my film, the girl wanted to play football. In Chak De they wanted to play hockey."
Her latest film It's A Wonderful Afterlife which is a backhanded compliment to the timeless American director Frank Capra, has been selected as the opening film at the exclusive Sundance Film Festival on January 21.
Recalls Gurindher, "My film What's Cooking had been premiered at Sundance in 2000. So in a way it's a home-coming, and that too with a film that in many ways takes me back to my warm intimate family values of Bend It Like Beckham. I shot in the same Indian-centric localities of London."
The robust Punjabi director whose last film Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging was in the news for its sexual content, says Bend It Like Beckham remains her most beloved film. "Before Bend It, the footballer David Beckham was not quite the mega-star he is now. You'll be surprised to know how many people would ask who the Beckham in the title was. I think Beckham became a big star afterwards. If I were to make Bend It Like Beckham today it'd be impossible. David Beckham has become too big for his name to be used for a film."
Gurindher is now all set for the release of It's A Wonderful Afterlife which she says comes close to Beckham in terms of mood temperament and characterization. The film will have a dubbed Hindi version, despite the fact that Gurindher's Bride & Prejudice was ruined in translation.
"This time I think a Hindi version of It's A Wonderful Afterlife is required. The film is about ghosts and reincarnation. These themes are hot favourites among Indians. We're looking for a good title for the Hindi version. Audiences in Hindi may not get the Capra reference in the English title."
Gurindher had a whale of a time shooting with the amazing Shabana Azmi for It's a Wonderful Afterlife. "She put on so much weight that she was unrecognizable on the streets of London. Often ladies would come up to her and ask, 'But aren't you Shabana Azmi?' I took her to a Punjabi baby- shower to meet all these women, so she'd get a hang of her Punjabi -Londoner character. Shabana is dead-on in the film."
To add to the complexities Shabana had to talk to ghosts in the film. "No one can see these ghosts, not even Shabana. But she had to pretend that she could. Sometimes in the middle of a shot I'd walk up to her and ask, 'What are you doing?' And she'd delight me by retorting, 'I really don't know'. Shooting this film was great fun."
Now Gurindher hopes watching the film would be as entertaining. "I think It's A Wonderful Afterlife is my best work to date."Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 11 Jan 2010 | 5:02 am Ranbir-Katrina come together? After the success of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, the Ranbir-Katrina duo seems all set to rock the silver screen again. His first film as a producer Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic may have failed to create any magic at the B.O. but that hasn't deterred producer-director Kunal Kohli one bit. Kunal in fact has just announced his next film called Break Ke Baad to be made under his own banner Kunal Kohli Productions in association with Reliance Big Pictures. Break Ke Baad stars Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone and will be directed by debutante director Danish Aslam.
Bollywood Hungama spoke to Kunal Kohli who confirmed the details, "Yes the next film we are making at Kunal Kohli Productions is Break Ke Baad. It's going to be directed by Danish Aslam who has been an assistant director on films like Fanaa, Salaam Namaste, and Ta Ra Rum Pum. The film stars Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles and is about a couple who have gone through a break-up."
The buzz is that the title Break Ke Baad had already been registered by a gentleman living in Bangalore. So were there any hassles in procuring the title? "No...we didn't have any hassles at all. The gentleman who had the title was very sweet and warm and when we told him how important it was for us to have that title, he readily agreed."
Break Ke Baad has music composed by Vishal- Shekhar. The film goes on floors in March this year and will be shot mainly in Delhi and Cape Town (South Africa).Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 11 Jan 2010 | 4:13 am Subhash K Jha speaks on Pyaar Impossible
Pair impossible? You bet! Uday Chopra as the geek in love and Priyanka Chopra as the unattainable self declared 10-on-10 beauty is a bit of a long shot.
But in films about the romance of the impossible, anything is possible. In the first fifteen minutes of the narrative Uday gawks sighs and grins goofily every time Priyanka passes by on the college campus. She's so hot, she could scald the film's frames if only the basic treatment was not so thanda.
We see Ms Chopra on roller-skates, on stage pounding a guitar, at the café gabbing with the boys...everywhere except in the classroom.
So who said anything about studies?
Soon Alisha (yup, that's her name) is back in India with a little daughter named Tanya who is the most annoying child-actor in recent times. When Uday Chopra masquerades as her nanny Tanya threatens, "I'll call the cops and tell them you're doing bad things to me."
Ahem ahem. The daughter's lines are written to sound cool. And the 7-year old girl mouths them as though she heard them all on television.
Most of the narrative unfolds in Alisha and her daughter's home where the Geek, still smitten after seven years, becomes the monstrously ill-behaved daughter's nanny.
The world outside this quaint and over-cute domestic scenario is inhabited by corporate types pounding away millions worth of deals on their sleek computers. The geek can only be sleek when he wants. But he's content in his placid cocoon. Who needs style when you have spectacles and braces?
It's a 'jingle' out there. The soundtrack is suffused with sounds that are so U-tube you want to squeeze the tune down the toilet. The single-mother as played by the excessively self-confident Priyanka Chopra seems well-equipped to cope with the quirks of the concrete jungle.
Turn on the heat, Baby. Coz Alisha is hotter. And she never lets us forget this.
Ms Chopra's character offers much room and potential for comment on today's working women, their effort to balance home with work. We had an interesting variation on this theme recently Yashraj Film' Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year where Gauhar Khan was a woman struggling to keep her clothes on at her work place.
Priyanka's world in Pyaar Impossible seems strangely bereft of harassment. Her greatest stress is to find a nanny for her insufferable daughter. When that is in place she needs to treat her suave (but evil) suitor (played with a likeable glint by Dino Morea) to dinner at home.
That too is taken care of by her all-purpose nanny. The dinner sequence has the potential of being a laugh riot. Instead it just stretches on like acres of unkempt grass in need of a mower.
Most of the film replicates the over-studied rhythm of a sitcom about a smart working -class babe who can't see love (read: geeky nanny) staring down at her right inside her home.
Priyanka Chopra in a stunning new hair cut looks every inch her part. But would someone please explain why she needs to show her legs 24x7? Is there some kind of a hidden statement in her leggy presence?
