Bayern Munich progresses with win over Juventus

Bayern Munich scored two goals in each half Tuesday to beat Juventus 4-1 and advance to the knockout round of the Champions League. Juventus took the lead against the run of play when David Trezeguet volleyed home in the first half, but Bayern drew level before halftime when goalkeeper Jorge Butt converted a penalty. Bayern quickly took the lead after halftime when Ivica Olic and Mario Gomez scored. Substitute Anatoliy Tymoshchuk then added a fourth in injury time.
