Even as the tinsel town wakes up to the anniversary of the 26/11 terrorist attacks on Mumbai, film stars and the industry make the right noises in the media, the King Khan dedicates himself to the Nation in a unique way.
Shah Rukh Khan and BJP spokesperson Shaina N C painted a wall at Marine Lines at midnight to pay tribute to the heroes and victims of 26/11. Mumbaikars joined them in large numbers.

Sameera Reddy became an epitome of oomph when she pulled all stops in Sanjay Gupta's Musafir. Ever since then she has
featured in variety of roles and worked across different genres. Last year she went for a complete change in image when she
took a comic route with Race and One Two Three, both being successful at the box office. Meanwhile, she also
balanced it all with a couple of offbeat Bengali films. As she gears up for the release of yet another comedy of hers, De Dana
Dan, she gets into a conversation with Joginder Tuteja and declares that in spite of Katrina Kaif being the leading
lady opposite Akshay Kumar, she is unperturbed as the film belongs to everyone from Akshay Kumar to Suniel Shetty as well as
Johny Lever.
In De Dana Dan, one sees you in a typical Priyadarshan setup where there is so much happening all around. You must
have had fun doing such a role...
I am a big fan of Priyadarshan and would have seen his Hera Pheri at least 10 times. I was longing to work with him
and when I was told that he wanted to rope me in, I was game for it. Of course I did ask him what did I have to do in the
film but then he said that he was clear in his mind about my part. He admitted that it would confuse me if he tried
explaining the story, its situations and the characters and hence just wanted me to be on the sets and take it up there.
The film also has Katrina Kaif opposite Akshay Kumar. Ever wondered that the focus would be entirely on them?
(Smiles) It's as simple as that. When you do a Priyan film, you don't worry about picture ka hero kaun dikhega aur heroine
kaun hogi. One just goes by the script requirement. Whether it is Johny Lever or Akshay Kumar, everyone has a definite
role to play in the film. And let's not forget the fact that when a film is a hit, everyone benefits. My own Race is a clear
example of that. I had to play a character which was akin to that of Kitty from Pankaj Kapoor's 'Karam Chand'. I went by my
instinct and did it. So was the case with this South film of mine which is making great waves.
Well, audiences seem to be pretty much looking forward to De Dana Dan. It appears to be creating good buzz at just the right time?
Over the weekend, I was in Delhi and then Udaipur and you should have seen the response there. Aam janta was coming and telling me that promos are interesting and they are expecting a lot from the film. They had a lot of good things to say which is fantastic. The song 'Paisa Paisa' is a hit not just up North but even in Chennai. I am travelling different cities for the promotion of the film and I can see the song rocking everywhere.
One hopes that Sameera too rocks, stays on to be oomphy as ever and keeps the glamour quotient bang on...
(Laughs) This is something that I promise I will never run away from. Despite doing a few offbeat films, I am absolutely comfortable with the glamorous side of mine and will keep coming back to it again and again. This is how a large segment of audiences wants to see me in as well. In any case, oomph can come in different ways. There are different variations to glamour. You can be seen in a Musafir mode or in a fun way, as was in the case of Race or now De Dana Dan.Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 26 Nov 2009 | 5:58 am Eva Mendes in PETA anti-fur campaign

Aftab Shivdasani's latest film and his first as a producer Aao Wish Karein is a fairy tale about making wishes and believing in them. In keeping with the theme of the film, Bollywood
Hungama in association with Mumbai Mantra and BenQ had run the Aao Wish Karein contest in which lucky winners got a chance to meet-n-greet Aftab and one lucky winner was even eligible to win a 37'' LCD T.V. from BenQ
While the contest winners had a memorable time interacting with Aftab, it was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young Krishna Yelappa who won the bumper prize of the 37'' LCD T.V. from BenQ. As Aftab removed a random chit from the bowl containing the names of the contest winners, the excitement in the room was phenomenal. Aftab even played around a bit when he read out the name from the chit as A-F-T-A-B much to the audiences' delight. However, when he actually announced the lucky winner's name it was Krishna Yelappa who in the room.
An S.Y.B.Com student from Matunga, Mumbai, never in his wildest dreams had Krishna imagined that he would be winning an 37'' LCD TV by taking part in an online contest. Speaking to us after winning his prized possession Krishna said, ''I can't really thank Bollywood Hungama enough for this exciting contest. I am a regular surfer of the site and had participated once in a contest before on the site when I won an Audio CD. However, to win a 37'' BenQ LCD TV is something which I had not imagined. I am thrilled beyond imagination''
In the past, Bollywood Hungama has always provided its surfers the opportunity to take part in exciting contests. In the days to come, there will be many more such interesting contests, all you need to do is keep taking part and 'Wishing' that you get lucky.Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 26 Nov 2009 | 4:03 am Lindsay goes topless for a magazine

Along with Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif is now comfortably placed in the Top-3 bracket of actresses. It is of academic interest then to know which of the three actresses are holding on to the No. 1 spot. But the fact remains that after New York and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, if Katrina manages to get a success in De Dana Dan and Rajneeti as well, she would almost step up towards the coveted position. A day before the release of De Dana Dan, Katrina Kaif talks to Joginder Tuteja about the number game, people who have made a difference to her career and the reason behind signing a film like De Dana Dan when she has author backed roles coming her way.
After Boom, when you started rebuilding your career, you got Sarkar with Ram Gopal Varma, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya with David Dhawan and Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye with Raj Kanwar. However, most recognition came your way with Vipul Shah's Namastey London. Which of these films/people do you think have contributed most in causing a turning point in your career?
I think that every movie and filmmaker has helped me a little bit in moving ahead over the years. In this journey of mine, they have all been a great help and guided me into taking a step in the right direction to being successful.
In Namastey London, you played Jasmeet. In De Dana Dan, you are yet again playing a pucca Punjabi named Anjali Kakkad. Having fun playing such characters?
(Laughs) But I am not really speaking in Punjabi and I haven't even put on a Punjabi lingo for De Dana Dan. Since the film is set in Singapore, I talk in regular Hindi and that's about it.
This is your fifth film with Akshay as a leading lady after Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Welcome and (if one discounts Blue where you were in a special appearance). The popular theory is that Akshay is lucky for you from the very beginning of your career. However, hasn't it ever occurred to you that perhaps you are lucky for him as well?
Come on, none of us have ever thought like that. I don't even think Akshay ever says that he is lucky for me. Same holds good vice versa as well. There is no logic to it, you know. Both of us take one film at a time and do it on its merits rather than just the pairing factor.

A one time successful model, Arjun Rampal's foray into films seemed like a natural transition. He made his debut with Moksha in 2001, but his initial years in Bollywood did not help him get recognised as a performer. It was really Rampal's second innings and clear dedication that gave him the much suited tag of a star performer.
Be it his villainous role in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om or his rocking performance as a rocker in Rock On, it's only a matter of time before Arjun will be counted among the cream of Bollywood. As is obvious that he has the making of a star, be it his good looks, a husky voice, and a series of acclaimed performances.
Married to a former Miss India and a gorgeous supermodel Mehr Jessia, and blessed with two daughters, Arjun is definitely professionally and personally a happy man. About 40 unsuspecting passersby and strangers of all ages on the streets of Mumbai were captured last week trying to ape the Big B's zany 'Monkey dance' steps on ad-maverick turned first-time filmmaker Balki's new music video which hopes to promote the by-now popular dance step from Paa among kids and grownups alike.
Apparently, it was Paa producer Abhishek Bachchan's idea to just go out on the road and capture people aping the Monkey step, expertly and clumsily but with genuine feeling. Reveals Balki, "The idea to record random people on candid camera doing Auro's steps did come from Abhishek. And I liked the idea immensely. Much better than getting a rehearsed group of enthusiasts to do the steps. We went out with the camera and found a surprisingly large number of people who were trying to do the Monkey Steps. We have them on camera as part of a music-video which we'll air on television soon. We're hoping they wouldn't mind being caught with their guards down."
The genesis of the Big B's Monkey Steps is interesting. Says Balki, "I wanted Auro to have his own peculiar dance steps, with King Kong's beating of the chest, etc. Our choreographers Bosco-Ceasar came up with the perfect little jig for Auro."
Interestingly, Shimit Amin's Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year has its own little jig billed as the 'Rocket Step' for Ranbir Kapoor.
So this December, it's the 67-year old Amitabh Bachchan's Monkey Steps vying for dance - space with 27-year old Ranbir Kapoor's Rocket Steps.Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 26 Nov 2009 | 2:30 am It was very sweet of Shilpa to invite me: Adnan SamiAdnan Sami, who was in hospital all of last week for stones in his gallbladder, was startled when Shilpa Shetty stormed into his hospital room to invited him for her wedding reception.''I don't care how many stones you have inside you.Source: Oneindia.in - Entertainment | 26 Nov 2009 | 2:15 am When Lady Gaga embarrassed dad with erotic dancingLondon (ANI): Popstar Lady Gaga’s father was left embarrassed when he saw his daughter doing an erotic dance in a bar. Celebrity weddings are all the craze, what with the glitterati, the pomp and show, the paparazzi and the larger than life decor. Though it's also true that more and more celebrities are now opting for quieter, more family oriented celebrations. Does that make them want to look any lesser than living gods and goddesses? Guess not! Chandni Dev at Bollywood Hungama gives you the secret behind the gorgeous Shilpa Shetty's stunning bridal look.
It was a fairytale wedding, one that spoke volumes about the couple... how they wanted to make it nothing less than perfect and yet at the same time not be pompous. The date was set, the venue was set, the wedding invites were out and all that was left to be seen was the bride in all her loveliness.
We all have seen Shilpa dressed as a bride umpteen times in films but one still wonders what the actors would look like when they get married for real. It was anybody's guess - would Shilpa go in for the larger than life ghagra choli affair, embroidered to the hilt, in gold and loud mesh of colours? Or would she keep it low key and revel in the natural glow of a bride-to-be?
23rd of November gave away the mystery as Shilpa was received by her spouse Raj Kundra, not on a ghodi, but a chariot, in a royal sherwani, a Nikhil and Shantanu creation in maroon and gold. He arrived looking like a prince holding a kirpaan and sporting a kalgi on his turban, at the Khandala farmhouse of Shilpa's close friend Kiran Bawa. She looked every bit the bride, and not a showbiz biggie, in a Tarun Tahiliani creation.
Shilpa belongs to the Bunt community of Mangaloreans. Carrying the tradition forward she sported a brocade sari in burgundy and red with a gold zari border. In his truly signature style Tarun gave the sari a truly heavy bridal look but kept it from looking too bling. The sari was well draped, studded with swarovski pearls and studs and the beautiful pallu was neatly pleated on the shoulder with jewelled brooch, again typical Tarun.
The sari was accompanied with an almost backless choli with a plunging neckline which Shilpa accentuated with a heavy jadau necklace with a drop pendant. An equally bewitching kundan kamarband and kalgi shaped bajuband gave Shilpa a very traditional bejewelled bride look that she carried with style and smile and looked nothing less than an Indian princess, a look that is the prerogative of every bride. It's yet to be seen what Shilpa pulls on her reception that is scheduled to take place at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, an event that would be buzzing with the Who's who of Bollywood and the corporate world. Here's wishing the newly wed a happily married life!Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 25 Nov 2009 | 9:40 am Films, exhibitions in Delhi to mark Bhopal gas tragedyA three-day film festival on one of the worst industrial disasters, the Bhopal gas tragedy, will start in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) this Sunday.Source: Entertainment News | 25 Nov 2009 | 9:31 am National Award winning films need better platform: Jahnu BaruaNoted Assamese filmmaker Jahnu Barua rues that there is no mechanism to screen National Award films in different parts of the country.Source: Entertainment News | 25 Nov 2009 | 9:15 am Shilpa-Raj's grand reception in Mumbai - Times of India

At the moment Salman is not happy with life at all. For the first time Salman Khan wasn't able to attend his father's birthday on November 24.
This year, Salim Saab turned 64, and the Khan parivar had planned to make it a grand celebration, what with Wanted being a huge moneyspinner for Salman. Dad's birthday and son's success would've made for a grand bash at the Khan's residence.
Unfortunately, Salman and Arbaaz are in Wai on the outskirts of Mumbai shooting for their home production Dabangg. And there was absolutely no way Salman could be allowed to return to Mumbai even for a few hours.
That left Salim Saab on his birthday with only son Sohail to keep him company.
Says Sohail, "I guess I got lucky. I got Dad all for myself on his birthday. Much as Salman and Arbaaz would've liked to be with Dad, there was no way they could leave the shooting in Wai and return on Tuesday for Dad's birthday without disrupting the schedule. We were just three days into the shoot and it couldn't be stopped."
While Salman seethed in Wai, Sohail drove back to Mumbai on Monday to bring in their father's birthday and to convey Salman and Arbaaz's best wishes to their father.
Says Sohail sentimentally, "The whole family makes it a point to be together by hook or crook for our parent's birthday. Anyway, Dad believes work comes first. But Salman and Arbaaz are very unhappy about the situation."
The family is getting ready for the release of Veer on January 26. "That's a big project for us," says Sohail. "We've worked really hard on it. After Dabangg, we want to start Partner 2. Everyone keeps telling us sequels ka zamana hai. Look how well the sequels to Golmaal have done! But until we're sure that the script will take us beyond the first Partner, we can't go ahead."
The entire Partner team is working on the sequel's storyline. "All of us, Salman, Govinda, David Dhawan and I, have been told to work on an idea. We'll go ahead with Partner 2 the minute one of us cracks the screenplay.
