India gold hits fresh record on global cues

MUMBAI (Reuters) - India gold futures struck a fresh record high of 17,499 rupees per 10 grams tracking strong international markets and on safe-haven buying. At 10:01 a.m., the December contract was trading at 17,485 rupees, up 0.55 percent.
