Source: NDTV Entertainment News | 17 Apr 2009 | 4:50 pm Amrita Arora's dream honeymoon in Europe'Matches are made in heaven!' How perfect is this saying in the case of the recently wedded Bollywood lass Amrita Arora. After a three day wedding ceremony, Amrita and her hubby Shakeel Ladhak have set off on the blissful path of a married life. Bollywood Hungama came across these images that shout out the idyllic life these two are currently enjoying. Amrita and Shakeel are back from their three-week honeymoon in Europe. The ever shimmering lass describes her honeymoon as nothing but a fantastic road trip. The couple had originally planned to go to Mexico, but had to change the venue because of the civil strife there. The trip, which was entirely planned by Shakeel, started from Barcelona to Spain, Paris, Italy, Capri, Venice, Florence and London. Amrita, who is known for being a shopoholic was for a change subdued as the trip was aimed more at exploring the cities and locals they visited. Though most of the destinations are prime shopping spots, Amrita managed to hold her resolute, and by the look of the images, we are certain that she enjoyed herself. One thing is for sure, at the end of their honeymoon, the couple is soaring on cloud nine and we at Bollywood Hungama wish them all the luck for the years to come.Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 17 Apr 2009 | 4:40 pm Meet bald and beautilful Cameron Diaz

He also thanked Celina for being one of those rare angels who has always been ready to openly embrace the community's issues and help them in every possible way. The founding editor Ashok Row Kavi spoke about how the magazine had people from every strata of the society relating to it and how they had responses from as far as Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Celina herself passionately spoke about not considering this as a charitable act. She elaborated on how this is a human right for every individual and made it clear that gays deserved not just acceptance but also the love and compassion of everyone. She even generously volunteered to help the trust with her own finances until they could find more sponsors. The event came to a close after Celina and the other guests interacted with the media. While Neil was initially hesitant, he later gave in to the director's demands and indeed shot for the nude scene. The scene, set in a prison, has the prison authorities torturing Neil by asking him to strip. But post 26/11, things have started to get a bit serious...too serious it may seem for Shreyas Talpade. The elections are two weeks away and the actor who was personally invited on behalf of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the Prime Minister's meet recently has decided to enter active politics in the near future. After having a candid chat with Shreyas at his Waldorf apartments on an extremely hot summer afternoon over a cool, sweet and salty nimbu paani, we almost read the actors mind and figured out his inner most revelation - a politician thinks of the next election but a citizen like Talpade, of the next generation. Bollywood Hungama's London correspondent and UK's Harrow Observer columnist - Devansh Patel finds out more about the intentions of the actor's plunge into the big bad world of politics, his lost faith in the security and judiciary, his advice for the youngsters interested in joining politics and of course...his films, Paying Guest, Click and Aage Se Right. It's a dog eat dog situation when you enter the political battlefield. You ready for it? Well, let me clear the air. I was invited by the CM for the PM's party meet. They all spoke well and we sat there for a good couple of hours. I was accompanied by Subhash Ghai and Manmohan Shetty. I wanted to meet our PM because I respect that person a lot but we didn't get a chance. I wasn't supporting any party as such. I was just invited and I had to honour the invite. Today our job doesn't end by going and voting. It's a little bit more than that. Post 26/11, we all are shaken up. Ab maamla ghar tak aa gaya hain. Today, one has to be a bit more responsible and involved, and if that involvement means me getting into politics, I really don't mind. So may be in the next elections, you'll see my involvement. Poll: Do you think Shreyas will make a good politician? Maybe in the next elections, you'll see my involvement. There is a price you pay when you join politics. How do you deal with it? To a certain extent it is. Every now and then you hear some candidate being shot or murdered. Politics has become dirty. Someone told me that even today; the ratio of good people is more than that of the bad. When this same ratio is flipped, we need to be alarmed about. Having said that, there are lots more educated people coming into politics now and are trying for a change. And things will change. Perhaps it might take two more elections or let's say one more. We have got everything inherited from our ancestors and it's time we give something back to our future generation. It seems you've lost trust somewhere. You're right. I've lost faith completely post 26/11. I don't trust anyone. I just want that faith to come back. The whole idea is to trust someone or someone trusts you. I was in South Africa when the Taj and Trident incident happened. I was there for the next thirty days and missed being part of those rallies and ceremonies. I wanted to be with my India and my people in time of grief. I was frustrated. In fact, post 26/11; people have become a bit responsible if not trustworthy. Post 26/11; people have become a bit responsible if not trustworthy With so many successors ahead of you, as a youngster, how far do you want to reach in politics? Let's say in acting, I want to be number one. I want to be the best and I'll do what I can to compete with SRK, Ranbir Kapoor or whoever. Politics is a completely different ball game all together. Politics is all about coming together than competing with each other. My idea is not to be the PM of India. But even if I can do something in my locality, it'll be great. If I can make my area secured, I've won my election. Quiz: Bollywood stars on the Political horizon How much room is there for idealism in political leadership and achieving your goals? I think idealism is the factor that'll prompt you or motivate you to do certain things. The word idealism exists but it's time we need to give some meaning and depth to it. Each party started off with some ideology and down the line we see that it has gone for a complete toss. Few days back I read an interview where Mr. Sanjay Dutt was asked about his manifesto which stated that the party will ban English and there won't be computers, machines won't be used for farming, etc. When asked Mr. Dutt on his comments about the manifesto, he said, "I was busy campaigning. I didn't have time to read it". My question is - What was Mr. Dutt campaigning about? I think that things are really going wrong somewhere. Is there any room for idealism here? My question is - What was Mr. Sanjay Dutt campaigning about? Do you ever stop and think back how you could've handled things differently if you weren't an actor? I don't know what I would've done. Probably get a stable job in a nationalized bank. And before you ask why a bank job, because there is an inter bank drama competition. That's how my hobby can be fulfilled. If a young person came to you who wanted to live a life of activism, a political life, what would your advice be to him? When I started doing Iqbal, there was one thing that Nagesh Kukunoor told me that if I ever wanted to succeed as an actor, I just needed to be honest with myself and the character I was portraying. I'd like to advice all youngsters to be honest to themselves in whatever they do. What do you see as the biggest challenge ahead? Not just for you and India, but for the world which is heading quick in the 21st century? At the moment, the biggest problem we are facing is security. Every side and part of the world is under tremendous tension. We are more worried now and want to find out who has come to live next to us, meaning our neighbours. Who are they? Where have they come from? etc. The trust and security issue is what we need to handle in the current scenario. Most of our revenue is going in defense services, arms and ammunitions. So if that's the case, why is there a lapse in security each year? Get it sorted man! Most of our revenue is going in defense services, arms and ammunitions. So why is there a lapse in security each year? Tomorrow if you join politics, what would be your Indian Dream? Everybody wants to see India on the global map, the next super power, etc. That's secondary. I want to get my faith back and that's my primary concern. And not just me. The whole nation wants to get their sense of security and faith in the political scenario and the security of our country. If they can do that, I'll be like a King. That for me is my Indian Dream. Shreyas says faith in security is his dream for India. Click here and share your dream for India with Shreyas From a serious topic, let's move on to a bit on the light side. Films. Do you think post the strike; many films are going to suffer. I mean, there is always a right time and the right place for films to release? I completely agree with you. I also feel that today people can smell films. They see the first promo and the first poster of the film and decide whether they want to go and watch it or not. But if your story is good, it'll work and recover its money, and that's not rocket science. For some films, a lot of word of mouth is required. My first film was pitted against No Entry. Still both films worked in some way or the other. Take us through Click Click is a horror thriller film directed by Sangeeth Sivan. I've worked with him in Apna Sapna Money Money. Actually, people see him as a comedy director but I guess his forte is suspense thrillers and horror. We've got some very good songs in the film too. And this is my first ever horror film. So I'm looking forward to it. And Paying Guest? It's a story of four friends who are staying as PG's out of India. One fine day they are kicked out from the place they are staying and the job they are doing. Due to certain circumstances, they have no place to live and no work to do. One lie to another and the balloon bursts. What about Aage Se Right? Aage Se Right is a comedy flick with a Pink Panther sort of humour. It's not slapstick. It's a UTV and Ronnie film. It's a story about a cop who loses his gun and there is a terrorist in the film too. He finds his gun but again the gun goes somewhere else. It's a bizarre thought but it's something never been made before. It's because of the one wrong 'right' turn I take and what happens. Are you happy in the small space you've made for yourself in the industry? I am very happy. I am also ambitious and want to grow and achieve a lot of things. I know I will but want to give a bit of time to it. I want to stay here for a long time. So with the pace I'm going, I am safe and sound. But in my entire journey, I'd love to work with Raj Kumar Santoshi because I think he has got a very honest and an aggressive approach towards all his films. Mani Ratnam is the next director I'd love to work with because of his superb and diverse filmography. Having said that, I've also worked with a completely different school of directors. From Nagesh and Shyam Benegal to Farah Khan.Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 17 Apr 2009 | 11:08 am Agyness Deyn spotted with Alex GreenwaldWashington (ANI): Agyness Deyn seems to have mended her broken heart with another rocker lover Alex Greenwald, according to reports. At least three major filmmakers in Mumbai including the maestro of poetic cinema considered by many to be the best filmmaker of the post-Raj Kapoor generation are seriously looking at remakes of Shakti Samanta's 1971 classic Amar Prem. The enterprising Pritish Nandy Communications has already got the ball rolling. They have roped in actor-director Rajat Kapoor to direct an animation version of Shakti Samanta's 1958 thriller Howrah Bridge. The project has long been in pipeline. Producer Pritish Nandy feels the time to pay an animation homage to one of Hindi cinema's most endearing and enduring creators is now. "A straightforward remake is a long stretch. Where will get an Ashok Kumar and Madhubala to do a new-age feature version of Howrah Bridge? Rajat Kapoor has directed A Rectangular Love Story for us. And he's the right person to do the animation film. An animation film takes very long to complete. Howrah Bridge is an especially intricate work." Interestingly Karan Johar is producing an animation version of his own film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with the original voices of Shah Rukh and Kajol doing the dubbing. The big question about the animation version of Howrah Bridge would be who would dub for Ashok Kumar and Madhubala? The names being most prominently bandied are Ashok Kumar's nephew singer Amit Kumar and the silken-voiced Vidya Balan. Sushant Singh is the idea choice to dub for the villain K.N. Singh while Mallika Sherawat would lend her throat for Helen.Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 17 Apr 2009 | 9:58 am Shah Rukh to seek out new starlet at IPL

After their two films together Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum, the two had sworn to work together again... and again. But Ta Ra Rum Pum didn't do well. It was widely believed that Saif would be back in Sid Anand's next which he is committed to make for producer Sajid Nadiadwala. According to our highly reliable sources within the industry, we learnt that the well known major record label T-Series has filed a legal notice against Span Communications, a Delhi based advertising agency which has used the popular song 'Pappu Cant Dance' from the film Jaane Tu⦠Ya Jaane Na as the title track which has been sanctioned by the election commission. The glitch however is that though the agency has changed the wording from 'Pappu Cant Dance' to 'Pappu Cant Vote', the basic tune and rhythm of the song hasn't been changed. Thus it becomes an infringement of the copyright of T-Series. However, when Bollywood Hungama contacted Span Communications' Chief Financial Head - Mr. K. K. Gupta, he replied saying, "We have not received any such legal notice from T-Series. As per our project, we have been granted approval from the Chief Election Commission directly to go ahead and use this track. Besides since all our other projects as well are government oriented, we get direct approval from the system itself." Reconfirming this, Span Communications' CEO - Mr. Naresh Khederpal said, "Span Communications is just a media agency that has released this track, while the makers of the track are the Chief Election Commission itself. We have not done anything wrong; in fact we just did what we were asked to do. Besides the track in question was created and played first during last year's election in Delhi, during the months of September and October. We shall be airing it again this election term." Though Span Communications has refuted the claim of being served a legal notice from T-Series, all we can do is wait and watch as this issue slowly unfolds this election season.Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 16 Apr 2009 | 4:12 pm Chowrasta Crossroads of Love - Times of India
Source: Google News India - Entertainment | 16 Apr 2009 | 4:07 pm Blue Eiffel tower in London DreamsVipul Shah's forthcoming magnum opus London Dreams starring Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Asin will be the first ever film to feature a blue-colored lit Eiffel Tower. In case you are wondering if the Eiffel Tower has actually been painted in blue, let us tell you that the blue colour is courtesy the special lighting which was on the Eiffel tower for a certain period to mark the beginning of France's presidency in the European Union. Vipul Shah obviously is elated that not only did he get to shoot his film at the world-famous Eiffel tower but also got a chance to be part of this rare specially coloured look for the historic monument. He states, "When we were initially planning to shoot a scene and a song in front of the Eiffel tower, we had no idea that we were in for a pleasant surprise. The whole of France was celebrating the country's presidency in the European Union and as a special tribute the Eiffel tower had a special blue lighting which gave it a spectacular look. I am lucky that ours would be the first and probably the only film to feature this special blue look of the Eiffel tower as the lighting was on only for a limited period." Quiz him on whether London Dreams would still arrive in August and Vipul replies, "Shooting of the film is complete. As for the release date, we will have to wait and watch how things shape up considering the on-going strike." Meanwhile, Vipul is already busy with the shooting of his next film Action Replay starring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. There were some reports in certain section of the media that the film's storyline is similar to the Brad Pitt- Cate Blanchett Oscar nominated film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. In fact, Warner Bros. had even issued a public notice threatening to sue anybody who tries to remake the film without their approval. However, Vipul is quick to dismiss any such rumours about his film. "My film Action Replay is based on a play of the same name that I had done nearly 15 years ago. We had performed around 200 shows of the same play. So there is no question of me violating the copyrights of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button when there is no similarity whatsoever between the storyline of the two films," signs off Vipul.Source: BollywoodHungama.com News | 16 Apr 2009 | 3:33 pm I never support political baddies: Salman
