We are indeed talking about the supremely superlative launch of the baap of all the magazines 'Harper's Bazaar'. And as any magazine would want it, Harper's too wanted something really HOT from Bollywood to 'harp' about! And what else could be more 'harpy' than featuring Bollywood's IT couple Saif-Kareena in its launch edition. Even though the magazine's launch is scheduled for next week, we just couldn't resist or temptations as we came across the super-cool snap of the super-coolest jodi that is rocking Bollywood! The icy-minty-juicy story just doesn't end there as Harper's have managed to shoot Saif-Kareena in Mauritius no less! Well, if the 'inaugural' sneek-peek of the magazine is anything to go by, we are sure that Harper's Bazaar will soon have lots of reasons to harp about, courtesy, Saifeena! What say, readers?Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 24 Feb 2009 | 1:15 pm The reason behind Gulzar and Sukhwinder's absence at the OscarsSunday night as the Slumdog Millionaire team was celebrating their spectacular night at the Oscars, two people, who had an important role to play towards the success of the 'Jai Ho' song, were conspicuous by their absence. Yes...we are talking about veteran lyricist Gulzar and playback singer Sukhwinder Singh (who has crooned the 'Jai Ho' song). While Gulzar was officially nominated along with A.R.Rahman in the Best Original Song category for 'Jai Ho', Sukhwinder despite not being nominated was all set to perform live on stage along with Rahman at the Kodak theatre. However both were unable to attend the event due to some paperwork irregularities. Sukhwinder, who was all exited to be performing at the Oscars, had even submitted all his official documents to secure a official work permit letter from the Oscar authorities but in the end he was left waiting as he didn't receive any intimation from the concerned authorities. Gulzar too seems to have missed the event on account of not receiving any official intimation. One must say that this silly goof-up on the part of the concerned authorities has resulted in a big loss for the duo as they missed being a part of a historic moment in the Indian entertainment industry.Source: BollywoodHungama.com Features | 24 Feb 2009 | 1:08 pm South Asian nations bond over music at festival in capitalThe peoples of the region renewed cultural ties at the three-day South Asian Bands Festival at the 16th century Purana Qila in the capital Feb 20-22 when the newly-restored royal quarters amid sprawling manicured lawns reverberated with the sound of powerful music.Source: Entertainment News | 24 Feb 2009 | 12:29 pm When Indian and American dreams intersectIt's not often the Great Indian Dream intersects with the Great American Dream.Source: Entertainment News | 24 Feb 2009 | 12:28 pm
