Hungary's capital, Budapest, has been shrouded in fog and smog this week. Budapest's mayor on Sunday issued the city's first full-scale smog alert, which was triggered when the Russian natural gas dispute forced Hungarian power plant  to shift from natural gas to more polluting fuels to produce electricity.The prime ministers of Russia and Ukraine announced a deal early Sunday to settle the gas dispute that has drastically reduced supplies of Russian gas to Europe for nearly two weeks.
