Britney Spears hates the constraints put on her life

Britney Spears admitted on TV earlier this week that she hates the constraints put on her life.

The singer’s father Jamie is in charge of her estate, finances and well-being and closely monitors everything she does.

But in private the 27-year-old singer has also complained about her lack of a sex life.

‘She has been celibate for months now and jokes to friends she may as well be a nun,’ a source says.

‘The constraints on her life are totally suffocating. She has been crying in private and putting on a brave face in public.’

Britney, 27, is also thought to have been put on a strict eating plan ahead of her world tour next year.

‘Every mouthful is being monitored,’ the source tells the Daily Express. ‘She’s on a strict no-sugar diet.’

Angelina Jolie revealed she plans to take time off work for family

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she plans to take as much time off work as possible to spend with her family.

The 33-year-old actress and partner Brad Pitt have 6 children – adopted Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3, plus biological kids Shiloh, 2, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 4 months – and she says they come first.

'Brad and I are trying to balance our lives so that we’re there for our kids and can also make sure we’re fulfilled as people,' she tells Now.

'I haven’t worked for a year now, so I’m looking at working for a few months and then not going to work again for another year.'

Angelina also says they'll definitely adopt more children.

'I’d love to. We’ve thought about South or Latin America, but it’s very complicated.

'Brad and I aren’t married, so as a technically single woman there are lots of countries I can’t adopt from. And as a technically single man, most countries wouldn’t allow Brad to adopt at all.'

Angelina's new film Changeling, about a mother whose son is taken, is out now.

Madonna is said to have bought some gorgeous gifts for Alex Rodriguez’s kids

Madonna is said to have bought some gorgeous gifts for Alex Rodriguez’s kids.

The baseball star has been supporting the singer, who divorced Guy Ritchie, 40, on her Sticky & Sweet tour dates in Mexico City and Miami.

And in return she has splashed out on Christmas presents for his daughters Natasha, 3, and 7-month-old Ella.

‘Madge is so comfortable in the parental role,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She also knows how happy it makes Alex when she shows her nurturing side.

‘She picked up a little red Burberry wool coat and a little black Burberry dress for Natasha. And for Ella, she ordered a round crib from Bonne Nuit and one of their tables.’

Earlier this year, Madonna, 50, issued a statement denying her friendship with A-Rod, 33, was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage to Cynthia Rodriguez, 34.

'I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez,' she said. 'I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage.'

Meanwhile, Madonna met Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez on Tuesday at the same palace where she filmed Evita 12 years ago.

Britney admits she hates working out at the gym

Britney Spears did a lot of exercise to get her body back in shape.

But she admits she hates dragging herself to the gym.

‘It isn't fun [for me], so to do it every day would be horrible,’ she says. ‘Three days a week is cool, even two.

'It makes me feel good and feel like I've done something. It's important to take care of your body.’

Britney found it difficult to tone up after having sons Jayden James, 2, and Sean Preston, 3.

‘I have had to work hard at getting [my body] back to where it used to be,' she says.

'I used to be obsessed with working out. But I can't get motivated right now because I'm so focused on my music.’

Britney handed over custody of the boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline earlier this year.

She now has two overnight visits with them each week.

Review: Victory signs for 'Frost/Nixon'

A series of 30-year-old television interviews doesn't sound like promising movie material. But "Frost/Nixon," based on the interviews David Frost did with Richard Nixon in 1977, is powered by strong performances and a good script.

Could 'Bolt' be this weekend's No. 1?

The first full weekend in December is always pretty slow at the box office, which is surprising given that it falls right in the heart of the big holiday movie season. That could help "Bolt" -- which has been strong but not No. 1 -- take the top spot.
