State Bank of India, or SBI, has hiked its benchmark primelending rate, or BPLR, from 12.75% to 13.75% from August 12, reports CNBCTV18. It will hike deposit rates by up to 75 bps from Saturday. The rate hike is not applicable on existing auto loans.
