Claiming that their day-long nation-wide bandh was a "success", Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Thursday said it will continue its protests until the Jammu and Kashmir government withdraws its decision to revoke the land transfer to Shree Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB). Meanwhile the curfew in Jammu continued for the third day, adding to the woes of the common man.

Left parties to work out modalities of pull out from UPA!

The UPA government holds its breath on Friday as the Left parties convene a meeting of their coordination committee to work out the modalities of a pull out over the Indo-US civil nuclear deal. The parties however might not decide on a pull out before July 6, when PM Manmohan Singh returns from the G8 summit.
