Vaidisova upset in Eastbourne; Davenport pulls out

Nicole Vaidisova, a Wimbledon quarterfinalist last year, didn't make it through the first round of the International Women's Open on grass Tuesday. Lindsay Davenport withdrew with a knee injury, but expects to be fit in time to compete at Wimbledon.
